Warpsmith Enhancements
Designer's note: When multiple modifications are applied to the same weapon, do the following:
- First applly effects that add weapon rules that weapon does not normally have
- Then apply effects that modify weapon rules and/or stats
- Finally appy effects that remove existing weapon rules
WARPSMITH ENHANCEMENTS
Warpsmith can permanently enhance your wargear. If wargear is lost in action, all its enhancements are also lost.
CURSED WEAPON 3BP
Applies to: Combat blade, Chainsword, Chainaxe
The weapon gains Lethal 4+ and Hot weapon rules, worsen the weapon's Hit stat by 1.
DAEMONIC WEAPON 2BP
Applies to: Power fist, Power maul, Power spear, Power weapon
Add 1 to weapon's critical Dmg stat.
ENSORCELLED FUEL TANK 5BP
Applies to: Hand flamer, Flamer
The weapon has the Piercing 1 weapon rule. Add 1 to the weapon's both Dmg stat. Subtract 1 from the weapon's Atk stat to a minimum of 4.
HIGH CALIBER BARREL 4BP
Applies to: Boltgun, Heavy Bolter
Subtract 1 fron the weapon's critical Dmg stat. The weapon gains Devastating 3, Piercing 1 and Heavy (Dash only) weapon rules. The ROUNDS equipment cannot be used anymore with this weapon. In addition, if the modified weapon is Heavy Bolter, it loses its Focused weapon profile.
HYDRA-CLASS SILENCER 3BP
Applies to: Boltgun, Bolt pistol
The weapon gains Silent weapon rule.
LIGHTWEIGHT FOREGRIP 1BP
Applies to: Ranged weapons except pistols
The weapon gains Punishing and Hot weapon rules.
LOW TEMPERATURE HEAT BLOCK 7BP
Applies to: Inferno pistol, Meltagun, Plasma pistol, Plasmagun
The weapon (standard profile only in case of plasmagun and plasma pistol) gains the Silent weapon rule, but worsen the weapon's Piercing weapon rule by 1. Piercing 1 therefore would become Piercing Crits 1.
LOYALIST STANDARD UPPER RECEIVER 3BP
Applies to: Boltgun
When this modification is first applied to the weapon, you can select one of the following:
- The weapon has the Torrent 1" weapon rule
- The weapon has the Piercing Crits 1 weapon rule
- The weapon has an additional stationary profile with stats of Atk 4, Hit -, Dmg 3/5 and the following weapon rules: Heavy (Dash only), Lethal 5+, Piercing Crits 1 (apply then any other weapon enhancements).
MODIFIED FLIGHT PROGRAM 5BP
Applies to: Missile launcher
Whenever any profile of this weapon is selected for an attack, you can select wether it has the Barrage weapon rule.
NEURAL LINK 2BP
Applies to: pistols
When an operative armed with this weapon is selected to counteract, and it has the Conceal order, it can change its order to Engage and perform the Shoot action.
NON-LETHAL KIT 4BP
Applies to: Bolt pistol without enhancements
Change the weapon's stats to Atk 4, Hit +1, Dmg 1/1, and weapon rules to Range 6", Lethal 4+, Silent, Shock, Stun. The ROUNDS equipment cannot be used anymore with this weapon, and no further weapon enhancement is possible.
PLAGUE WEAPON 2BP
Applies to: Combat blade, Chainsword, Chainaxe
This weapon gains Severe and Poison weapon rules, add 1 to its Atk stat (to a maximum of 5), and subtract 1 from its critical Dmg stat,
POSSESSED CHARGE CONTROLLER 3BP
Applies to: Plasma pistol, Plasmagun
Change the weapon's Supercharge profile Piercing weapon rule to Piercing 2. After shooting with Supercharge profile of that weapon, when the operative is rolling D6 as the result of Hot weapon rule, damage is the result multiplied by three.
PREDATORY SCOPE 4BP
Applies to: Boltgun, Heavy Bolter, Bolt Pistol
The weapon gains Lethal 5+ weapon rule, but for each result of 1 and 2 the operative inflicts 1 damage on self.
SUSPENSOR SYSTEM 5BP
Applies to: Power armour
Whenever this operative is shooting with weapons it is equipped with:
- Weapons with Heavy weapon rule have Heavy (Dash only) weapon rule instead.
- Weapons with Heavy (Dash only) weapon rule have Heavy (Reposition only) weapon rule instead.
- Weapons with Heavy (Reposition only) weapon rule lose that weapon rule.
TAINTED WEAPON 1BP
Applies to: Combat blade, Chainsword, Chainaxe
The weapon gains Rending weapon rule.
TARGETING FAMILIAR 2BP
Applies to: Boltgun, Bolt pistol, Heavy bolter
The weapon gains Accurate 1 weapon rule.
